Finding Light

Light is a Nourisher,

a Revealer,

a Clarifier,

a Healer.

Yet the darkness of pain, suffering, doubt, isolation, illness and worthlessness may attempt to close out the possibility of light...

until we realize it's just fear.

Fear, that old pretender and poser.

How is it that fear can be so convincing, deceiving and manipulative

that the gifts we hold appear to be hidden from us?

Fear keeps the chorus of chaotic concerns:

"Will I ever be all right?"

"Will I ever belong or be accepted as I am?"

"Will I ever be loved?"

"Will I ever be healed?"

But Light clarifies and heals. Perfect Love casts out fear. 1 John 4:18

You already are. All. Right.

You belong and are accepted, just as you are.

You already have the most powerful Love in you, with you and for you.

Healing is wholeness is holiness...and you have that within you, too.

A new song at church proclaims:

"Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Freedom...there is Freedom!"

Freedom dwells within us. Do we realize this?

He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:24.

There it is, right (and Righteousness) inside of us, the Spirit, ready to shine the Light on a dark situation, on dark thoughts, on a dark mind.

The Spirit is there to set Free!

For God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of Power, Love and Sound Mind. 2 Tim 1:6.

Light makes this clear: fear is not from God.

On the contrary -

God's gifts to us in the Spirit are Power, Love and Sound (Wise) Mind.

But if darkness exists, is there a reason?

Does darkness...

move us toward light,

make us crave light,

force us to grasp for light

and persist until we find this Light?

Does darkness create a desire in us to seek, find, know and rely on

this Light?

Because seeking, finding, knowing and relying on this Light

enables the Light

to shine the Triune beams upon on fear and darkness,

testing it from all angles,

until...

darkness ceases to exist.

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ. 2 Cor 10:5

We have this Triune Light within us,

a Trifecta of Truth

to Try and Test our thoughts

in the Temple (inside us) of Father, Son and Spirit.

Reflecting,

we allow the Spirit's Prompting to test the thought.

Reading and Reminding ourselves,

we place the thought in the midst of the Son's Words

and make it obedient to the Son.

Reviewing,

we see whether our beliefs reflect God's Promises.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2

Light is vital to renew, restore, and re-nourish.

And we already have plenty of it...just waiting to be found in us!

You are already full! You are already rich! 1 Cor 4
